Kathryn Kaye Craft, formerly Eldaine Kaye Byers, 77, of Albany, passed away Thursday at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.

Kathryn was born in Lebanon to Berkrem and Elsie (Scheler) Byers. She graduated from Springfield High School and went to work for a construction company in Portland until 1968. She then went to work at Oremet in Albany. Kathryn married Donald Craft in Reno on April 25, 1969. She was a very knowledgeable business woman and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. Pound for pound, she was the sweetest lady on Earth.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Tony, Lisa, Tiffany, and Natalie Craft; sister, Darlene Davis-Byers; grandchildren, Vaughn Craft, Taylor, Brittany, Ashley, Courtney, Erin, Chelsea, and Kyla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Byers.

A viewing will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Fisher Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2:00pm, Friday, October 6th at Willamette Memorial Park.
