Tom Ordeman, President of Fisher Funeral Home, has been a licensed funeral director since 1980. Representing the fifth generation of family ownership, Tom graduated from West Albany High School in 1975 and joined Fishers' in 1980.
Active in many civic organizations, Tom has given back to the community by serving on the boards of the YMCA, Albany General Hospital Foundation, Rotary, Linn County Fair, & Albany Chamber of Commerce, as well as statewide on the Oregon Funeral Director's Assn. Board, and internationally on the Selected Independent Funeral Homes Board of Directors, an international trade association of independently owned funeral homes, where he was recently named President Elect.
Tom has served as Albany Tennis Club President and on the Albany Boys & Girls Club Baseball Committee, Springhill Country Club Greens Committee, Linn County Fair Entertainment Committee, and participated in the Albany Leadership Program.
Tom's wife Denice (Coon) is a lifelong area resident and they have two sons, Tom, Jr. (18) and Scott (16).
Tom assists families with at-need arrangements, prearrangements and prefinancing, grave markers, and holds a State of Oregon Insurance License. He is an avid outdoorsman (he is licensed by the State of Wyoming as a hunting guide), and recreationally enjoys golf , tennis, and basketball.
Tom has been helping Albany area families for 21 years and understands the needs of the community.

Wally Ordeman, Vice-President of Fisher Funeral Home, has been licensed by the State of Oregon as a funeral director/embalmer since 1984. Also a fifth generation funeral director, Wally graduated from West Albany High School in 1980 and attended Oregon State University before transferring to Mount Hood Community College's Funeral Service Education Program.
Active in many local organizations and non-profit groups, Wally has served on the boards of the Red Cross, Kiwanis, and St. Mary's School, Oregon Funeral Directors Assn, United Way of Linn County, Albany Visitor's Assn., and Willamette Memorial Park. He has ben active in coaching through the Albany Boys and Girls Club where he serves on the board, and has spoken to many civic and school groups about his profession. Wally has served on the Lions Eyebank Advisory Board and holds a certification from the Lions Eyebank of Oregon. He is a member of St. Mary's Church with his wife Rene' (Jensen), sons Perry (14) and Alex (11), and step-daughter Melissa (15).
Wally assists families with at-need and pre-need arrangements, & grave markers, as well as removals and preparation. In his spare time he loves to play golf, tennis, and coach his children in a variety of sports.

Alice (Kropp) Ordeman, a 1952 Albany Union High School graduate, attended San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and was licensed by the State of Oregon in 1961. Alice and Dan Ordeman (Dan passed away in 1997 & served as chairman of Fisher Funeral Home until his death) represent the 4th generation of the Fisher family.
Alice works in the office, assisting families with contributions, payments, biographical information, genealogy, and much more. Since we rarely use an answering service, Alice is often who answers funeral home calls from her home after normal business hours.
Alice is a member of Albany's First Assembly of God Church, the Thursday Study Club, PEO Chapter EP, and is a Governor's Appointee to the Oregon State Medical Examiner Advisory Board. She is currently on the Linn Benton Community College Foundation Board.

Rob Webster joined the Fisher Funeral Home staff in 1975. Following his graduation from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1977, he passed his State Board Exams in funeral directing and embalming, and has served in that capacity for 24 years. Rob is a volunteer enucleator with the Lions Eyebank of Oregon.
Rob has helped hundreds of families through difficult times & decisions, and because of his guidance during these times, families trust and respect his suggestions and direction.
Rob is a member of the East Albany Lions Club and has served as President & Secretary. He is a 20 year member of the Albany Elks Lodge and attends the First Christian Church in Albany. Married for over 25 years, Rob and his wife Merla have three children, Kelle, Allison, and Jared. Rob enjoys waterskiing, boating, and fishing. |
A lifelong Albany resident, Mike Osborne graduated from South Albany High School in 1988 and began serving his apprenticeship in October of 1988. He graduated from the Mt. Hood Community College Funeral Service Education Program in 1992, earned his Funeral Service Practitioner & Embalming Licenses, and returned to Fishers' in June of that year.
Mike shares many roles at Fishers' including family assistance, prearrangement, preparation room activity, purchasing, and is also a licensed eye enucleation technician, certified by the Lion's Eyebank of Oregon.
Mike's excellent reputation as a funeral director has been earned by treating the families we serve with respect and compassion. Like many of the Fisher staff members, Mike has grown up in this community and understands the needs of Mid-Valley families.

Carol Young moved to Albany from rural Kansas in 1953 at the age of 10 and graduated from Albany Union High School in 1960 Carol was the secretary/receptionist at Fisher's from 1987 until 1994, and returned in that same role in 1998.
Carol has been a member of Albany First Baptist Church for over 40 years and devotes much of her spare time to women's ministries, the choir, and missions. She has served on the leadership team of the NW Conservative Baptist Women of Oregon, and has taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, & Child Evangelism classes.
Carol is responsible for obituary preparation, death certificates, Veteran's Claims, life insurance claims, Social Security Notification, airline letters, memorial books, and is often the staff member to greet visitors to our office.
Carol has three grown children, two of whom still live in Albany, and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys reading, sewing, & knitting, and collects angels and candles. Carol plays the piano and pump organ and enjoys going to dinner with friends. |
Jeff Prunk has recently earned his license to offer preneed funeral insurance and, in addition to his responsibilities at Fishers', will be providing aftercare follow-up to families we have served & visiting area residents who wish to preplan their services.
A lifelong resident of the Jefferson/Dever-Conner area, Jeff graduated from Jefferson High School and attended LBCC & Oregon State University where he studied counseling. Jeff worked for over 3 years counseling youth as a Campus Life Director, 8 years at Stone Forest, Inc., and 6 years in the titanium industry at Selmet.
Jeff and his wife of 19 years, Dalana (Chilcote), have 3 children, sons Jessey (15), & Mitchell (14), and daughter Charli (3). Jeff is a dedicated football coach, having coached at Jefferson High School and through the Albany Boys and Girls Club for many years.
